I qualified from Queen’s University, Belfast in 1996. Following my training, during which I completed Paediatric Anaesthetic Fellowships in Our Lady’s Hospital for Children, Crumlin, Ireland and Boston Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts, USA, I was appointed to my present position as a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children in 2009. My interests include ENT/airway management, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, TIVA and regional anaesthesia.
